Abstract :
Recently, the power electronics products rapidly expand with advance of its technology. The power electronics products are demanded to be high efficiency for saving energies. To cope with the demand, snubber energy losses of conventional PWM converters are not negligible and should be improved. This paper explains an active snubber-energy-recovery method for PWM converters and proposes a novel high boost ratio DC/DC converter circuit for the energy recovery. The features, the circuit configuration and the experimental results are described in this paper
