Abstract :
Globalization drives individual firms to form an inter-firm network (INW). An inter-firm network needs to increase market share rapidly and develop potential capability to adapt behavioral model to environmental changes. This article takes HMC Company became a market leader in telecom area within 7 years. With some insights of the case study, this paper also develops an analytical framework for researching INW behavioral changes based on Networks Habitual Domain (N-HD), and discusses the dual role of N-HD in INW behavioral changes, in an endogenous perspective, this article provides some useful tools for managers to identify N-HD, improve N-HD, enhance adaptation capability, and formulate appropriate strategy according to competitors´ N-HD.
