Abstract :
As part of our multi-beam development program, this paper describes the simulation and testing of a gridded gun beamstick, demonstrating off-axis Brillouin focusing of a single beam. The beam is situated off-axis to accommodate a six beamlet design. Control grid interception is prevented by use of a shadow grid at cathode potential
