  • Abstract
    Aiming at the problem of on-line measurement of black liquor baume degree, a soft-measurement scheme based on GSVM (Gaussian Kernel Support Vector Machine) was proposed in this paper. The model used steam pressure and liquor temperature as the secondary variables to predict black liquor baume degree. In terms of the hardware and software development platform of SIEMENS S7-300, a DCS based on soft measurement technology of black liquor baume degree was designed. The results show that this method can monitor the black liquor baume degree in evaporation section of the alkali recovery process better, control the utilization rate of the fresh steam effectively and achieve the purpose of reducing the energy consumption of paper-making industry successfully.
