Abstract
Recently, the most of traffic condition is researched by the person. It is studied widely to research traffic condition automatically. A transportation control system is being used to collect these data and to then perform analysis. A typical example is information technology like ITS(Intelligent Transport System). But there are many problems. Cluster distinction and template matching is used as conventional method. When the former is used, many parameters are determined by trial and error. The latter is not suitable for distinction of a vehicle, because it use correlation between patterns. It is proposed in this paper that is new vehicle distinction method using Minutia matching method. Proposed method can distinct a vehicle regardless of correlation of pixel value. Because Minutia matching method can distinct a vehicle with few feature points. Experiment result shows 92.1% distinction.
