Abstract :
This paper built the generalization model and algorithm for city building groups according to city road network, utilizing geometry algorithm and least squares estimation. Automatic estimation of the relationship between neighboring single buildings is realized. We proposed the working flow of simplification, combination, re-simplification to determine feature points of buildings and calculate their approximate coordination. And automated chose the constraint conditions according to generalization parameter, then got the optimal constraint solving all at once basing on parameter estimation model with constrained conditions. We realized the synthetic operation including simplification, rotation, shifting, magnify, reduction and combination. The correctness of result has been proved through MATLAB programming.
