Abstract :
An challenge issue in Brain-computer Interface (BCI) research is that one can hardly control his/her own EEG signals without any feedback. A suitable training protocol is necessary for an online BCI system, which provides some visual feedback allowing subjects to see their progress. Conventional feedbacks such as cursor control which subjects could easily find boring and not intuitive. In this study, we develop a 3D interactive game as the visual feedback for an online MI EEG based BCI training, and the program is integrated into application module of BCI2000 system for others using. Some preliminary results suggest that this game feedback is a more attractive training protocol for the subject than the conventional simple visual presentation feedback.
