Abstract
With the development of network technology, people´s demand on real-time and multimedia feature of the network services has become more and more sophisticated, that requiring Quality of Service of Next Generation Networks with high features. Firstly, this thesis systematically analyzes the characteristics and limitations of IntServ and DiffServ which supports the mechanisms of QoS. Secondly, describes the basic principles of MPLS, analyzes the guarantee and support for QoS by MPLS technology, and proposes the QoS solution based on MPLS collaboration. Lastly, this thesis sums up the role and prospects of QoS mechanism of MPLS in the future Internet.
