Abstract :
In over-the-horizon radar systems, much interference comes from the mainlobe direction, which reduces the radar performance. In this paper, multiple-input multiple-output radar technologies are introduced to suppress the mainlobe interference in an OTHR system. Based on the transmit beamforming at the receiver, the mainlobe interference can be suppressed completely, and simulation results validate this approach.
