Abstract
The paper presents four types of F class insulation systems, designed by authors for low voltage asynchronous motors used in severe operating conditions and their performances determined by testing these systems. The paper also includes a study of the impact that impregnation and reinforcement processes have on the features of the studied systems. In the end the article presents the functional evaluation results of the most performing insulation system, identified in the light of the experiments
