Abstract :
A constrained efficiency optimisation control of an induction motor drive is presented to improve high efficiency of the drive system. Then an extended cascaded predictive control method with multiple reference models ECGPC/MRM is synthesized which gives the possibility to control at the same time different variables more than in conventional cascaded CGPC. For this method, the plant is assumed to be divided into many parts and different G.P.C algorithms must be computed. The control law is then derived under polynomial structure in order to analyse the stability of the different controlled open loops in the frequency domain. Simulation results demonstrate the performance of the proposed method
