Abstract :
Overload Control Module with a set of well-tuned thresholds is a key component of Media Gateway Controller in a telecom core network, which will survive the whole core network under unpredictable mass calling events. Based on the description of Overload Control Module of Media Gateway Controller and a serial of threshold tuning trial, this paper finally gives a self-adaptive threshold setting method.
