  • Abstract
Recent developments in the fields of sensing, communication, and computing have driven the research efforts in context-aware devices, which can use context information to realize more intuitive interaction between human and machine. This paper developed a new conceptual design of intelligent motor controller that is able to access environment sensors and acquire related information so as to employ different control schemes and different control parameters to suit different tasks and environments. This context aware application needs a new framework for context information gathering and corresponding processing. The proposed framework consists of three main components: an intelligent ZigBee card, wireless sensor networks and a configurable digit motor servo board. The intelligent ZigBee card, which is compatible with SD specifications, can access the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), the WSN deployed in the physical space provides environmental information, and the motor servo board is responsible for complete configurable motor control functions. In this paper, we first introduced the motivation of this work, and then the feasibility of the framework is demonstrated and implemented, finally, the conclusion is given and the future work is pointed out.
