Abstract
The paper presents an approach, to close the gap between developer, customer and user of biodegradable plastics made of renewable resources. A methodic way to do it, is to combine all requirements of design, manufacturing and technical features in a house of quality check. A procedure to find out possibilities for the use of biodegradable plastics is proposed. Examples are pointed out
