Abstract :
Web-enabled technologies play indispensable roles in supporting and enabling product life-cycle systems in a changing business environment. The need to improve a product´s performance in after-market services leads to the use of e-maintenance systems for achieving six-sigma predictive customer services. This paper presents a framework for Web-enabled e-maintenance systems. With the proper integration of e-maintenance into products, manufacturing and service systems, manufacturers and users will benefit from the increased equipment and process reliability
