Abstract
BIL Automobile Producer Responsibility Sweden (BPS) is the automobile industry´s organisation for producer responsibility in Sweden. The company is wholly owned by Swedish automobile manufacturers and importers, organised under the name BIL Sweden. BPS was founded in May 1999 with the aim of supporting the members of BIL Sweden in producer responsibility and recycling issues. BPS works with companies, industries, universities and other skill centres in Sweden and abroad to find suitable processes and markets for recycled material from cars, and to develop tools and methods for rational handling.
