We shall discuss, with the assistance of the Laplace transform pairs, two coloured noises with power spectral densities (PSD) proportional to 1/f2 and to 1/f and arrive at the sampled memory systems resulting in the Z-transform approach for generation of the 1/f flicker noise behaviour
