Abstract :
This article summarizes that the function of the predicting scope of the polygonal area of collapse in the mine goaf in WebGIS by VML with the algorithm of a parallel line on a broken line, for the current complexity of the algorithm and the limitation of the scope of application are not high, and accomplish the feature to show collapse range of mine goaf in WebGIS by VML. This kind of predicting algorithm of the polygonal area of collapse in the mine goaf can provide reliable proofs for prevention of collapses and compensations of subsidence, and also enrich the application of GIS.
