Abstract :
In this paper we propose an algorithm for computing fuzzy production availability of repairable flow network with independently working edges, fuzzy failure rate and time to repair. Production availability is the ratio of the maximum expected output flow Q̅r from the repairable flow network in the presence of failures, during a specified time interval, to the maximum output flow Q0 that could be obtained in the absence of failures. In former studies, failure rate is considered as a probabilistic variable and time to repair as a constant. In this work we consider the two factors as a fuzzy parameters and compute the production availability of the repairable flow networks as a fuzzy parameter.
