Abstract
Cloud Simulation Platform is put forward based on the concept of cloud computing. It provides relative services of modeling and simulation as cloud services with the characteristics of good capability in sharing, collaborating, fault-tolerating and migrating multi-granularity resources on demand by multi-user, etc. As cloud´s spirits, the pay-as-you-go policy should be the basis of charging policy of the cloud service. As a profitable commercial exploration, this article will discuss the monetization model of the platform. After that a comprehensive pricing and charging strategy based on the feature of resources of the platform will be introduced. Then a useful scheme of adjusting the pricing parameters will be given. Finally through an application example, it´s shown that the effective using of the monetization model and strategy ensures the interests of both consumers and service providers.
