  • Abstract
We design an adaptive, singularity-free, partial state feedback, position/velocity tracking controller for the full-order nonlinear dynamic model of an induction motor system. Specifically, based on the assumption that the induction motor is initially at rest (i.e. the input voltage is zero and the rotor is stationary), the proposed controller adapts for uncertainty associated with the mechanical subsystem parameters and the rotor resistance parameter while yielding asymptotic rotor position and rotor flux tracking. Experimental results are provided to illustrate the performance of the controller
