Abstract :
Concerning information about the environment, it has become indispensable to grasp relevant data from the viewpoint of LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) in order to meet the growing social demand for environmental protection and measure the effects of intracompany environmental conservation activity. In order to respond to those issues properly, the Ricoh Group is building what it calls "Environmental Impact Information System" which makes it possible to quantitatively grasp the eco-balance in the entire sphere of the Group\´s business activity so that et can be used in the environmental management the Group aims to practice
