Abstract
Dynamic e-business is a new phase of e-business development, which differs from traditional e-business by making enterprises adapt to dynamic business environment, build dynamic business relationship with their partners and transact in a dynamic business process. It is a great challenge to build the software platform to support dynamic e-business. The Web service and intelligent agent are two key parts of the solution. In this paper the authors present a realizable intelligent agent model applied in dynamic e-business. The agent, which based on BDI model, is applied to integrate the Web services in both dynamic and intelligent. The structure of agent includes 4 parts: knowledge base based on XML, current workspace, central control unit and effector, according to their respective function. To illustrate this model, we have accomplished a dynamic e-business platform based on intelligent agent and Web service. This platform has been trialed on the recommendation system of the travel plan. In comparison with other intelligent agent model, this model has two innovations: dynamic current workspace and knowledge base based on XML.
