Abstract
A new magnetometer with ferrofluid fluxgate sensor for measuring the intensity of d.c. magnetic field is presented. The electronic diagram with CMOS integrated circuits is described, as well as the ferrofluid fluxgate operation. The saturable fluxgate sensor is of the type of orthogonal coupling between the excitation and pick-up coil.
