Abstract
In this paper the influence of different temporal basis functions (a triangular, exponential, and cosine square function) on the stability of solution is investigated. It is shown that a temporal basis function which has poor high frequency content doesn´t have to guarantee more stable solution than the one with rich high frequency content. The investigation is done on the analysis of wire structures.
