Abstract
This paper provides a good overview of the status and future development of China wind power industry. The paper describes development and planning of wind power in China, including medium and long-term development and planning goals, characteristics of wind power in China, government rules and regulations, tariffs and tax issues. Specific numbers are given with regards to nationwide installed wind power capacity and energy production.
