Abstract :
A way to increase the channel capacity in 2times2 MIMO systems for wireless communication is to exploit polarization diversity. This contribution demonstrates the stability of the channel capacity for a simple LOS channel using planar-logarithmically periodic (log. per.) antennas at 2.45 GHz even when the polarization planes are not separated. This scenario will be derived theoretically and verified by a measurement of the complex scattering parameters of a simple wireless transmission link.
