Abstract
A 2-GHz Si bipolar chip-set, which consists of a logarithmic/limiting amplifier and a quadrature modulator and demodulator, and a 1.6-GHz dielectric root-Nyquist filter suitable for GHz-band IF signal processing are described. The chip-set operates at a 3-V supply and features low-power consumption. The root-Nyquist filter shows low amplitude and group-delay ripples
