Abstract :
Pulse diagnosis is one of important diagnosis methods in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Although current medical devices have the capabilities of pulse feeling as a doctor do, the procedure how experienced doctors make diagnoses have not been recorded. Thus it is difficult to establish knowledgebase of Traditional Chinese Medicine and make a useful clinic support model. In this paper, by inserting an electronic doctor fingers and an electronic patient arm between a patient and a doctor, the interactive diagnoses operation is transferred and recorded. In the application system, the electronic doctor fingers and the electronic patient arm act like real fingers and arm. The doctor´s finger pressure is detected and transferred to the patient and the patient´s pulse signal is detected and transferred to the doctor. The two parts are connected by a communication network; they can be used to provide service for remote patients and implement telediagnosis.
