Abstract :
In this paper, design of a small sleeve dipole antenna is proposed. We use a coaxial-type short stub inside a metal sleeve, it makes impedance matching without change of the antenna size. Also a radiating element is modified into helical shape for miniaturization, changing input impedance is optimized due to mounting the short stub so that suppress leakage current on the coaxial cable. As a result, the small sleeve dipole antenna is miniaturized 34.8%, -20 dB return loss and omni-directional radiation pattern similar dipole antenna.
