Abstract :
This paper deals with iterative linear equalization and intracell interference cancellation (IIC) in the downlink of MIMO wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) systems. A new reception scheme suitable for monorate, i.e., all users have the same spreading factor, overloaded MIMO systems is proposed based on the partial knowledge of intracell interfering signals, namely, their active spreading codes and modulation. We call this scenario semi-blind IIC. We compare our scheme with iterative equalization without UC for a 4times4 MIMO channel with a load equal to 125%
