The structure of abrasive wear resistant coatings, obtained by electron-beam borating of steel 45 (ferrite-pearlite structure) and by complex alloying (αand β-modifiers) of α- and (α+β) titanium alloys, was studied by diffraction of synchrotron radiation and optical microscopy
