Abstract :
In this paper, H∞ control strategy of robust control scheme is designed for Twin Rotor MIMO System (TRMS). It is a highly nonlinear, cross coupled, under actuated MIMO laboratory model of actual helicopter having two degree of freedom. The mixed sensitivity robust control method is proposed to improve the tracking performance. The effectiveness of the designed controller is verified by performing simulations; The disturbance rejection capability of the controller is also established.
