  • Abstract
In this paper proposed a new topology of modified cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter for asynchronous motor drive. Multilevel inverters have been used for the high-power and medium-voltage energy control applications. This paper deals with the most relevant technique of inverters i.e. multilevel sinusoidal pulse width modulation. The modified cascaded h-bridge multilevel inverter for asynchronous motor using PWM technique of 2-reference and 1-carrier signal for generate five level output voltage is developed using MATLAB/SIMULINK. Using this topology asynchronous motor obtain desired output speed and reduces circuit complexity and cost.
