Abstract :
A novel high-sensitive spectroscopy using a power stabilized light was demonstrated by a visible diode laser spectrometer. The hyperfine spectra of 5-5 band P(84) line and 3-4 band R(69) line of I/sub 2/-molecule at 657 nm were observed. The observed spectral feature is suitable for the development of a compact transportable frequency standard.
