Abstract :
This paper discusses about power management in wireless sensor network application. Energy harvesting concept must be applied in order to avoid high maintenance to change the battery frequently. In energy harvesting concept, solar energy can be used to charge the battery that supplied power to the whole system. Boost converter is also important in order to get a constant voltage from battery. MAX773 is used as a boost converter in this application. Results show that the device can be integrated to temperature sensor with 70% efficiency.
