Abstract :
Applications of electrets are discussed which were either newly realized over the past few years or which represent significantly improved implementations of older devices. Among these applications are optical polymer waveguides, solar cells, radiation dosimeters, silicon microphones, air-sampling systems, pyroelectric arrays, and piezoelectric transducers. Brief descriptions of these devices are supplemented by references to the literature
