Abstract :
In solar energy conversion system the presence of harmonics pose a threat to the supply system. The Selective Harmonic Elimination (SHE) method is used for reducing the harmonics. Solar panel produces DC, which is converted to an AC using three-phase PWM inverter. The switching angles for the inverter are calculated using Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm. The required high voltage transfer gain is achieved using an Ultra-lift luo converter. The results are demonstrated with a MATLAB-Simulink model.
