  • Abstract
    This article presents new digital excitation system models to be used in power system analysis. These models are an addendum to the most recent issued IEEE standard 421.5 (2005) for recommended excitation system models. It is the intent of the authors to request the inclusion of these models in the standard 421.5 at the time of its next revision.
