Abstract
This paper presents a processing technique for adaptive planar and linear array beamforming. The method is based on a Generalized Sidelobe Canceler (GSC) structure. In wireless communications the mobile stations are always changing places, so it is impossible to know a priori the direction of arrival of the desired signal. An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) was used to predict antenna behavior. A radial basis function (RBF) was chosen because it has an adequate characteristic. The desired direction is given for the GSC structure, which is able to construct the constraint matrix
