Abstract :
The array design sensors are capable of delivering more extensive and accurate data but have their own specific issues when interfacing the processing unit and this is especially true in the case of the interface servicing a piezoelectric resonance array. The interface of this type should be considered with regard to several factors - array design specifics such as electrode distribution and alignment, etc.; a physical or mathematical model describing the sensor array behavior when external or internal stimuli are applied; hardware limitations defined by the processing circuitry and so on. The current research is aimed to determine the possible usage of specific physical phenomena characterizing the piezoelectric medium, as the task is to shorten the required scanning time for the array.
