Abstract :
The linear stage of parametric instability of surface waves guided by the interface between chiral medium and planar isotropic plasma slab on the metallic substructure is investigated. This instability can arise due to the presence of an intense electric field, which is perpendicular to the boundary. The growth rate for the instability of surface waves and the threshold amplitude of incident wave are determined
