Abstract
This letter shows that, by proper use of time modulation in equispaced linear arrays with uniform excitation distribution, it is possible to maintain the Sidelobe Level of the radiated power pattern under a previously stipulated upper bound whereas, the undesired harmonics are minimized. This approach is used successively in the synthesis of a sparse array´s structure with widely promising results.
