Abstract
Future Internet and more specifically Information-Centric Networks (ICNs), based on the Publish-Subscribe paradigm, is an area that has attracted a big interest lately. Especially topology management issues and network path calculations, whether inter or intra domain, are a major issue. In this paper, a simulation environment developed in OMNET++ is presented, that can be used to provide insight on how Future Internet architectures will cope with congestion and high demand. This environment follows the publish-subscribe approach introduced by PSIRP, but is mainly focused on the topology manager design and intends to enable the development of new improved network path calculation techniques.
