Abstract :
We consider noncoherent communication over a frequency nonselective channel. Results from coherent coding theory are used to devise both low and high rate codes for noncoherent systems. Further, one-dimensional noncoherent codes with good Hamming distance properties can be transformed into space-time noncoherent codes which achieve full transmit diversity using a block transformation
