Abstract
This paper presents chaos synchronization in the Rossler using the backstepping approach. Backstepping has parameters that values of these parameters are important because behavior of system is related to these. Generally, parameters are chosen arbitrarily. Genetic algorithm finds best values for these parameters with optimization value for the fitness function. Selected fitness function is for minimizing the least square error. Fitness function not only forces the system error to decay to zero rapidly that it causes the system to have a short and optimal settling time but also makes an optimal controller and causes overshoot to reach to its minimum value.
