Abstract :
We compare, in the case of an ionic material, the distribution of relaxation times and of energies which can be obtained from Thermally Stimulated Depolarization Current and Complex Impedance Spectroscopy under isothermal and non-isothermal conditions. It is shown that the anisothermal techniques disfavor the occurrence of the interfacial effects and, as a consequence, makes the analysis of the dielectric spectra easier and more reliable.
