Abstract :
In this paper, several existing measurement methods on transformer winding direct current (DC) resistance are introduced, and its shortcomings are also analyzed. Through transformer winding DC resistance measuring experiments with AC power supply, which separated iron core loss form winding copper loss in transformer by adopting power separation, and then the DC resistance can be calculated based copper loss and the winding current. The measuring results show that transformer winding DC resistance can be derived in AC power condition, and the DC resistance measurement online can be realized.
