Abstract :
Dielectric constant εs and electrical conductivity of dielectric liquids dissolved water have been studied from a view point of effects of functional group binding water molecules. In this experiment, the aromatic liquids such as a nitrobenzene are used. From the results, it is found that in the case of dielectric liquids binding the electron acceptor base and also dissolving the bound water, the εs and the conductivity of liquids become very high but the conductivity is independent of εs, and that in the case of liquids with the electron donor base, the conductivity increases with εs but its value is smaller than that with electron acceptor
