Abstract
Incremental benefits are created by using a transponder infrastructure to transmit real-time information over a radio network and presenting a total transportation route disposition graphically to service controllers. This paper describes how London Transport Buses are utilising an automatic vehicle location (AVL) system in order to improve its transportation service
